Senior Associate Director of Psychological Services

Dr. Charneta C. Scott is a Licensed Psychologist and a Certified Group Psychotherapist who has been involved in the human and social services field for over 31 years providing social and psychological services for children and families. Dr. Scott is also a Diplomate with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress in collaboration with the National Center for Crisis Management.  Throughout her career, Dr. Scott has served in a variety of capacities and has addressed a myriad of issues related to youth and family services, mental health, teenage pregnancy, domestic violence, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, cultural (human) diversity, and family preservation.

Dr. Scott has had extensive training and experience in crisis intervention and issues related to grief and trauma. The culmination of these and all other experiences in her life have resulted in her role as a trainer, educator, mentor and mental health consultant. Additionally, she has taught graduate level courses in community counseling.

Dr. Scott has been with Francis & Associates, P.C. since 1996 providing services to children and families and an integral part of the Supervised Visitation Exchange program.
